How does the Don’t Go Hungry Diet compare to higher protein diets?

Research shows that higher amounts of protein may help you to lose slightly more weight and keep it off more effectively than diets with less protein. However, most people who eat in the Don't Go Hungry way - choosing nutritious foods and eating enough to satisfy their physical needs - automatically eat the moderate amounts of protein stipulated by higher protein diets. So there's no need to follow specific meal plans or load up on protein in order to get any weight loss advantages of a higher protein diet.
