After 6 years of constant on-again-off-again dieting, I had gone from a lithe and lovely 53 kilos to a massive 93 kilos. I had literally dieted myself fat! It was at this point that I finally realized that conventional weight loss methods just weren’t working. That’s when I made my life-changing decision to start a career in medical research so that I could find an effective way to lose weight and keep it off.
